“Y'know,” Peter murmured, sitting himself up against the headboard. “Your pillow talk could use a loooot of improvement.”

Amber chuckled softly, snuggling herself beneath the ridiculously expensive sheets. She stuck her tongue out playfully, her face scrunching up as she taunted him.

“You're one to talk,” she joked, her legs entangling with his beneath the covers.

Peter let out a soft chuckle, stretching his arms above her head.

“Yeah, well… in my defence, I don't really… do this a lot.”

Amber scoffed. She rolled her eyes, a few small fangs poking out of her grin.

“Oh, please. You're a total man-whore, you've definitely slept with folks before.”

Peter scratched at his chin. He kept his eyes affixed to the ceiling.

“Not what I meant, Peach,” he whispered.

Amber frowned. She shifted onto her side, propping herself up with an elbow.

“I mean, you've had people here before, right?”

Peter sighed softly. The quick glance he gave her made him crumble. Damn her. And damn those puppy-dog eyes she gave him.

“Yeah,” he admitted, resting and arm lazily across his bare chest. “But I've never… y'know, actually gotten to have moments like this.”

Usually, his nightly visitors, his friends with benefits or hookups or one night stands, fell asleep beside him and left before he woke up, or they'd leave as soon as they got their fill of him.
