Ship requests always wanted!

 • Always down to commit crimes. They hype each other when one has a slightly criminal idea or plan, they whisper to each other about it.

 • Love laying together and judging anyone, will just talk about people they dont like and feel comfortable enough with each other too.

 • Max never truly understands Dustin's science experiments but she's always down to watch them, especially when they're not supposed to be doing them.

 • Max is the first person he breaks down to about his grief over Eddie when she's in the coma, he breaks down about his feeling over it and his guilt about Eddie's death. He also cries about his guilt for his feelings of her never truly leaving, just quieting and hiding. Max heard all of it, could feel his hand so hesitant to hold hers. She felt guilty too.

 • Dustin was intent on trying to learn how to skate from Max, it became their weekly dates where Max would laugh her ass off as Dustin tried and failed to skate. He eventually decided he was much more suited for science than sports. Max still took care of each of his bruises and scrapes though.

 • They banter all the time, it's all in good fun and sometimes flirty, and sometimes when Max knows she's going to get annoyed or just wants Dustin to stop, she'll roll her eyes and kiss him. It works, he forgets whatever he was talking about before.

 • Dustin loves to make her laugh, will make a fool of himself to get Max to smile even a tiny bit, he makes it his daily goal to be the cause of her laughter at least once per day.

 • Will spend hours beside each other playing a video game and trying to beat the others score, any distraction is allowed and unfortunately for Dustin Max is very pretty and she knows it.

 • They're competitive as hell! More than happy to bet on themselves winnin. The usual is the loser has to take the other out for a date and pay, Dustin keeps losing but he's not all that mad at it anymore.

dusty henderson is THE theater girl. has been slowly working her way up form ensemble since being a freshman. incredible singer, actor...only holdup is her dancing. she's not the most coordinated...(im projecting lol)

max mayfield does not want to be here. but a failed english project means she needs to work on their production of twelfth night to get credits back so she can actually pass her class, all because her asshole of a partner didn't work with her, so she did all the work and got in trouble. fuck it

dusty gets cast as viola. max is working backstage, where dusty spends most of her time, helping out

see dusty is a real one bc she's an actor who techs and helps paint sets

they dislike each other on sight. middle school rivalry remnants. it goes wayyy back.

they keep getting shoved together and eventually they strike up a friendship in between scenes and after rehearsal, when dusty comes in during her free period, which is when max is mandated to come in

they start to get closer over the course of the show, when, during tech week, costumes needs people to help with quick changes.

it just so happens that max isnt helping with scene changes. she gets voluntold to help out
