I wanted to make Lucas stand out more in appearance than just leaving him as usual, and I modified his hair because I love drawing that type of hair and I thought it would look good on him.

Mike:

The first version takes place after the events of the story, while the second version involves a time jump to the third season (the period during which everything unfolds).

Such a pet peeve that some Byler fans took Mike and Dustin's most emotional friendship defining moment and went "No actually it's about Will" No part of it was close to being about Will it's meant to show just how much Mike is willing to sacrifice for everyone 😭
