hi,,, i hope u dont mind me asking... but i wanna learn how to do my own scans, how do you do yours? ur blog is super cute btw :-]
Aw thank you x3
All you need is a scanner and a program that can edit photos. I personally have a really old HP printer from the early 2000s (so in other words, you shouldn’t need anything too fancy) and I use photoshop to quick fix the colors and crop. I scan at 300-600dpi. It takes a bit longer but the quality of the end result is worth it.
And in photoshop I don’t usually do much, usually doing Image > Auto Tone/Contrast/Color is enough, but if not then I edit through levels (Image > Adjustments > Levels).
I’ve also seen lots of other people take pictures with their phone and edit through them too if you don’t have access to a scanner/computer. Hopefully that helps a bit!
hi!!

1st month of uni!
(an update + support chain)
Hey everyone! I thought for those of you in first year or just in uni/college in general, we can share how our first month went, give some love, support and maybe some tips for things others need help with, so reblog and add yours!
freshman 1st month
so far I’ve had two midterms; one I got a 55 on, which was very devastating, the other I legit just wrote 2 hours ago, so the grade is a tbd. I’m hoping that this was just my getting a feel of uni and i will do way better on the next ones!
i’ve gotten 83+ on all of my assignments that have been due throughout the month...so yay!! this sort of counteracts the bad midterm grades
i feel burnout at least once a week; im trying to work on it, but tips would be great!
i really don’t have a set routine for studying, the gym, cooking etc. (i’m living in an apartment on my own and it definitely gets lonely sometimes even when i feel busy!)
i’ve definitely been struggling with what the worth and point of all this stress for school is, but still pushing through it although my anxiety is bubbling up
Overall, it hasn’t been a bad month, but it hasn’t been good either....ups and downs. Here’s to making this next month better and trying to get into a good schedule!
P.S i think i’m going to make talking about school and maybe some times that aren’t talked about so much on studyblrs more of a thing, and they will all be under #uni talks with obliviatestudies
