If done right,Octavia’s Asexuality could actually be utilized in the story,lemme explain;

So,we can probably guess that arranged marriages amongst the Goetias are common. They usually were amongst royalty and nobility.

If we really wanted to get that daring,maybe Stolas or Stella purposefully put off choosing a husband for Octavia and now Stolas is out of the way,right? Octavia is reaching maturity,so now would make sense for her to start thinking about marriage.

Also,she is not out to anyone because she is worried about how others will react(as most LGBTQ folk are). And maybe she overhears the rest of the Goetias talking about her future(consisting of producing an heir or something) which makes her butt in and say something that basically unintentionally reveals that she’s Asexual/finds sex gross(she’s definitely sex-repulsed after watching her father flirt with Blitzø)

Lemme explain. The start of the show has the same mood,portrays Stolas and Blitzo’s relationship the same way,basically just the start of Helluva Boss as we know it.

For this to work,we’d have to skip over some episodes of the regular show(ex.C.H.E.R.U.B,Queen Bee,etc.),and Mastermind would probably also have to happen sooner.

And then sometime before Mastermind,maybe its when Stolas makes a flirty comment,or puts a hand on Blitz,that there’s this sudden change in mood. Its subtle,at first. The colors become more muted from this point forward. And things that were at first portrayed as cute or romantic start seeming more predatory.

Anyways then Mastermind happens and Blitzo begins to realize that his relationship with Stolas IS NOT healthy and he needs to get out right now.

And you remember how it was Paimon who arranged the Stolas&Stella child marriage?

Well Paimon is literally described as this

So if he already looks like a woman and you're swapping genders around (Bee, Bel, etc.) Why not just make Paimon a woman and make it into a matriarchy?

OR if you want to keep Paimon as a man then why not have him be the exception because he looks like a woman? Maybe feminine beauty and traits are all it takes to pass!

like... like this is such a bad ramble but i always specifically think about the scene of blitzo and moxxie having a bad trip

here i found it. i think about thsi scene a lot because there are a lot of things they did GREAT in it (the music composition is really nice, the contrast between the two scenes and points of view to show their differences, the way that those compositions converge when stolas shows up in blitzo's scene with all of the golden beautiful stairs, all of the sort of stuff with the gunk that blitzo cant seem to get off of himself, almost like guilt or depression) BUT...

they also messed up a lot of that composure with the fact that they decided to include some curse words for comedic effect/had a comedic scene in whole with moxxie (DONT GET ME STARTED...HIS TRAUMA AND THE SHIT HE FACES FROM MOXXIE ISNT A JOKE EITHER AND SHOULDNT BE TREATED AS SUCH)

Honestly the scene would be perfect imo with less comedic breaks and a bit of refining on the dialogue. And I also think they should have made it so that blitzo's scene makes him overwhelmed by more of the people attacking him than JUST moxxie and stolas because despite them being the people in his life right now those others are still haunting him, they still hate him and he still hates them, those past effects should be treated as important ALONGSIDE these forefront relationships because theyve been shown to have been a part of this upbringing that he has around being like, a quote en quote bad person

but one thing i can really praise i really wanna highlight here... the music... i mentioned this briefly earlier in the rant but ESPECIALLY in blitzos part that gritty and dark guitar riff/trill in this horrific endless wasteland with bleak lighting and deep gunk in the mixed color of all of those that he loves... it all forms together to create this really great cinematography and design of what blitzo's 'internal landscape' might look like
