hey!! i recommend playing through Explorers of Sky first. thats generally the consensus on the best game in the series. also, none of the games are necessarily connected to each other, so you can play them in any order.

when you start up the game you’ll get a personality quiz and it’ll assign you a pokemon based on your choices. if you like the result stay with it, but there are guides online that can help you get the starter you want. it’ll then give you the option of picking a partner, which can be any of the starters that isn’t your type - if you don’t see the starter you want on the list, pick one, and then select no when it asks you to confirm, and the list should refresh.

ummm in terms of actual gameplay stuff... some moves in the game can be stupidly strong. multi-hit moves, which suck in mainstream pokemon, can be death: fury swipes is the first one that comes to mind but there are others in the game that are just Death. always have reviver seeds on hand!

this made me curious so i looked in the tag and its funny…. theyre all like #picassokid #vangoughkid and about like being artsy in a really boring way maybe #vangoggles 2 them means looking @ the world thru vangough’s eyes or something?? art??? idk

you know this is similar to what i guessed was happening; like i assumed that they go to tag their shit with the actual artist name for whatever reason, and then tumblr auto-suggests recently used and popular tags? and i chitchat on here a lot, so those other hashtags might be other people’s urls getting suggested too?
