My son: the blessing
My son goes to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Robert Griffin III, aka RG3, who just won the Heismann trophy is the quarterback at Baylor and one of the most talented college athletes today. The Proverbs 31 ministry guy also goes to Baylor and was in one of my son's classes. David Crowder, is the sometimes-worship leader at University Baptist Church, where my son attends, and will be interning this semester. Do ya'll see the connection between all these? YESSSS!! My son!!!
What I want to know is this: how is it that these people all are able to be in the same place at the same time as MY son??? I mean, what are the chances that these well-known and semi-well-known guys can be SO privileged that they can actually rub shoulders with my kid? OMGoodness, I really do hope they realize how blessed they are. And I'm not just saying that because he's my son. Really. I'm not. Well, maybe I am. A little. Maybe. Or not.
