this specific moment hurts because of the emotion in hectors voice. i wrote it in the video but still.
you can hear hector pleading with ernesto to spare miguel. miguel is still alive, but to add insult to injury, he’s still just a kid. i don’t think hector even cared about getting to the living world at this point, or at the very least it was no longer a priority. his main focus was getting an innocent child back home.
the desperation, the fear, the “please don’t do what i think you are about to do”. this is a big reason why i love hector.

Hi, so here's another old thing I found from my PC. This time it's older, from 2017-ish.
It's alive Héctor!
I remember when the movie Coco came out, a lot of people drew over the characters from the Land of the Dead to turn them human. It was a cool concept since using the skeleton as a base worked as anatomy practice, so I tried with my favorite character, Héctor.
The coloring looks a bit weird, and that's because it was one of my first fully painted drawings in digital (though to be honest, I don't think I've improved much when it comes to digital painting lol)
