Zeon Confederated Systems "Mono eye" Hearthkyn

Another kyn down for my Salvager killteam down. Another model I'd already done mostly (I still kitbashed them) for the regular Hearthkyn team so I went and added a bit of a twist. That's an Epic Space Marine I used for the hologram that I found in my childhood bitsbox a little while ago. Also some attempt at a drybrushed OSL effect that I think is like 95% effective!

Kill Team time comes once again, and this round it bears space dwarves, the Hearthkyn Salvagers. These guys have a lot of options, and I did an indulgence to pick up some extra bodies so I could make everything. They've got funny names like Theyn, Lokatr, Kognitaar, and Grenadier. What even is that last one, that's not a real language.

Anyway, I went a little wild with some of the details here, from the heated metal weapons, to trying to up the metallics a little bit, to sculpting and printing some jetpack exhaust for the one guy.

Finished my first full squad of Hearthkyn for my Votann army. Found out after I applied the transfers that, unlike pretty much all the other factions I’ve collected, they’re supposed to have their faction marking on the right shoulder and the squad marking on the left shoulder but I guess I’ll just say that this Kindred decided they should be doing it the other way around. Still really liking how they paint up.
