Today my one-year-old has been sick and clingy all day. Naturally, I stayed by his side, trying to comfort him. Meanwhile, my three-year-old kept coming to me, asking for water. I gently told her, “Your brother needs me right now, can you wait?”

And she looked at me with those big eyes and said, “But I need you too.”

I paused. My heart just melted. In that moment, I realized how much love and patience motherhood really asks from us. How do you divide yourself when both your little ones need you? How do you teach them to wait, while still making them feel seen and loved?

Motherhood isn’t just about managing needs—it’s about holding hearts, even when they tug in different directions. 💛

There’s a memory I carry quietly. No photos. No proof. Just a moment that still warms my heart without warning.
