18. Crown of head kiss - Nik

She’s not sure exactly when it happened, but it’s been this way for such a long time now that Neff couldn’t possibly think of her life in any way else. Taking care of the girls made her so very happy. Seeing them light up when she was around and always asking if she could stop by again - Neff really did feel like she was doing a good job as a fill-in mom.

It was more than practice for when Neff could have a family of her own. The girls and Nik? They were her family now. Even if it took a while for the obnoxiously large man to warm up to her and accept her himself.

And now with the girls tucked in and Neff quietly exiting their room, she finds herself being thanked with a kiss to the crown of her head - an action that brings a soft smile and warm blush to her cheeks. She truly did love them all with her entire heart - and she could only hope they would continue to feel the same about her.

26. I missed you kiss - Stry

New Moons were always the hardest. She knew he didn’t really want her to be around during these rough weeks of his, but Neff refused to let him go about them alone any longer. Was it rather difficult having a large wolf to look after and take care of? Sure. But she knows there’s still a part of him in there that’s aware of what’s going on. She knows he won’t hurt her. She knows he’ll be able to control anything that would make things worse.

And after that week when he’s able to regain full control, when he’s able to return to his human state and live life among humans again, he always seems to react the same way. 

He brings her in close and kisses her in a way he usually doesn’t. It’s almost like a kiss when you’ve been away from someone for far too long. Maybe he misses being able to hold her like that. To be able to kiss her, run his hands through her hair, talk to her and just be able to give back everything she always gave him.

You've been away for quite a while -- maybe it's time to call it a day. You've had to keep up the façade for so long you're starting to forget who you really are. This calls for a nice cup of tea and an early evening in. Pack it up, settle down. Come home to yourself.

I love their takes on their characters. You can tell they all individually pour so much love and thought into their characters and they study them with care, think outside the box, and come up with such incredible and realistic new ideas to further flesh out their muse!

I love you, all of you. Your writing is so pretty, I love to read it! Whether it’s a reply for me, or just one I see on the dash I EAT IT ALL UP bc I love love love how you write. It flows really well, it’s easy to comprehend (for my dumb ass lmao), it’s not overly purple-prosy that you don’t understand a thing but it’s more than just ‘simple’- idk how to put it, it’s just perfectly balanced!! Planet Astrology Insight (Accepting) || @heartcursedtm

The challenging part of Neff’s life has most certainly been finding a balance and place of belonging. She’s been accepting of her abilities since she was a child, and while she’s always finding new things she’s able to do it’s not much of an issue for her to get into the swing of something new. No, the issue will always be feeling in between worlds - experiencing things most ‘normal’ humans don’t while also still being very much ‘too’ human to feel like she belongs elsewhere. Feeling like the only people she can really talk to are those that aren’t human vs. being the only human among them and feeling out of place. It weighs on her so much more than she’d like to admit and it’s something she’ll always struggle with even when (if not MORE so when) she ascends and become a minor deity living among mortals. I think it may actually be the one thing she never really finds closure with.
