hate2breakittoya also has a tag of stories of LGBT people going through âmogai hell denialâ. something that i went through, as at one point i was convinced that i was a panromantic homosexual trigender demi boy, when actually iâm a ftm trans gay man. it took so many unnecessary years of my life.
saying that âcishet aces can identify as LGBT/queer if they want to" is like saying "able bodied people can identify as disabled/cr*ppled if they want to" or "white people can identify as black/n-word if they want to". they are mutually exclusive things.

i just find it real funny that when people rally around the idea of an asexual character itâs ALWAYS the gay coded ones (iâm talking about jughead jones here, but garnet also comes to mind, since that was pretty popular a year ago)
and before anybody says âbut jugheadâs CANONICALLY ace!!â iâm including âwhoever wrote that particular comicâ under my definition of âpeopleâ. like itâs really telling that when those writers thought âwe need to make one of these characters aceâ, they went for jughead, the only main archie character who doesnât like to date the opposite gender. itâs very, very telling.
so like, everyone whoâs screaming âyou canât take ace jughead away! youâre not stealing this one!â well...you did that first.
