men are allowed to love men. a man is allowed to love another man in his entirety. to be soft and affectionate with him. to laugh with him and hug him and fight for him. wash the dishes with him and cuddle with him and read an entire bookshelf of novels with him. take him out to fancy restaurants, ride rollercoasters with him and hold hands with him on the beach. he’s allowed to take care of him when he’s ill, slow dance with him in the kitchen, build a family with him and make love to him in a home of their own.

I hate that there’s this HUGE unspoken pressure in the gay community to workout and have muscles in order to feel important or desired within the community. Like, I want all my gay men to know that your value as a gay man should not lie within a damn bicep or any other part of your body for that matter. And if you feel like you have to become a gym rat to find love and acceptance I am sorry the community has failed you. Know that you are worthy of those things with or without. 

if you’re gay and you are in love never shut up about it!!!!! never feel bad for telling the world how in love you are with your partner! gay love is amazing!
