I get that my added commentary may have come across as unnecessarily antagonistic. I was in some pain and other physical distress from long COVID symptoms last night when I reblogged that post and wrote that commentary, and perhaps this made my tone came across as more snarky than usual, which was not my intention.

Still, the level of negativity and hate I have received is wildly out-of-proportion to any slight negativity in my tone. Like people were writing things calling me a terrible person and worthless, using dehumanizing language, and stopping only very barely short of suicide baiting and/or violent threats. One of the posts was bad enough that I reported it to Tumblr, and I worry that anyone who would harass me in this way would be highly likely to harass a long list of other users as well.

I want people to know that I harbor no negativity or hard feelings towards the author of the original post in question, I really enjoyed the post and its humor and was trying to add some tangential commentary that highlighted one of the many reasons I like Tumblr, how you can have a post that is basically like a shitpost, and people can add totally unreasonable commentary to it but at the same time other people can add very reasonable commentary that adds insight, and this is one of the things I love most about Tumblr.

I wished people could see this instead of just assuming that I am some kind of mega asshole.

I also think that a lot of this negativity, frankly, is an example of the absolute intense bias and bigotry, hate even, that people hold against neurodivergent people.

Yes, I take things literally sometimes. Yes, I choose to take things and engage with them literally even when I know they are not intended to be taken this way. Yes, I like deep commentary. Yes, I like writing long text posts. No, this does not make me a bad person.

And if you think it's okay to threaten or harass someone because of these things, especially when a person expresses themselves without making personal attacks or without voicing overt hostility, if you think it is acceptable to initiate or greatly escalate any type of negativity or hostility just because someone said something that you perceived as mildly antagonistic, then maybe, just maybe, it would be best for you to spend some time away from the internet.

You probably don't own a mirror at home then because I can assure you the 'weirdest shit' one can ever see is your deformed thing that doesn't even deserve to call itself a face. Whatever you mean with 'pretending', I am for sure not the one pretending, like you are pretending to be someone with decency by sending hate anonymously to keep your reputation clean.

Well moron you thought this would stay anonymous, maybe you should have not sent hate messages at the exact same time as sending this ask. Not very clever, in fact extremely stupid. And just taking a look at you or listening to a single neuron-destroying word you utter would make anyone want to bathe in acid to end the misery of having to interact with you. Because even the slow painful death of your tissue getting slowly dissolved by acid is less painful than having to deal with your stupidity.  You might have cowardly blocked me and made yourself now inaccessible to me, however you did not block all my dear followers, who for sure gladly observe someone spewing their hateful bile at others. I mean I am not advising anyone to go teach this person a lesson or giving them a taste of their own medicine, merely showing it to all of you, so you know what kind of person this is, and everyone can decide for themselves what they will do with this information. It would be a shame if they had to face any consequences for their hate, wouldn't it? I don’t know if there might be a feature on this website to report such behaviour, would be a shame if enough people reported them and they would have to face justice.

First of all, grow a nerve and come off of anon, why don't you? Let us all see the greatest investigative journalist of the century here, who has apparently been busy with an extensive personal tabloid mission by going around stalking, slandering, starting rumors and spreading blatant lies and making completely antisemitic and racist assumptions about Jewish women and women of color, with anon hate messages and hate blogs. Come on, come out, let us all see the great Sherlock Holmes the Second! You would go so far with all that hate and stalking, don't you want to take some credit and get some attention for all the hard work? Come on now, show us!

Second of all, you have got to be a child who's bored out their mind, consider how much you're online with all your investigative journaling. Because you don't seem to have the faintest clue that there is a whole rest of the world out there, that not every place operates like what you know from where you are. Because you would not know the amount of coordination it takes across the entire European Union for EU countries to open for non essential travels and lift COVID restrictions across the borders. That most people over here have been vaccinated since as soon as they could, and if you aren't vaccinated then you can't go anywhere at all. That the amount of safety and public health measures that have been taken for how much length of time in order for some semblance of life to resume. Can you read German or French or Czech or Dutch newspapers? No? Well then, where are you getting your "covid peaks" from? Oh, that's right, Americans who aren't even here.

Poor thing. If I had more time and energy than this for random haters on the internet who clearly can't bear to stand seeing Jewish women and women of color making the best of their lives, I'd feel sorry for you. Because you will go so far and spend so much time and effort to hate and trash people whom you don't know two things about, who have never done anything to you, and who have never intentionally hurt anyone, it says way more about who you are than anything about us.
