Hiccup's Hogwarts House???
Seriously, I struggle with this so much!
Hiccup, imo, fit's almost every house pretty much equally. However, I do think I can narrow it down to either Slytherin or Hufflepuff.
I don't think we need to argue why, since he's shown countless times throughout the movies and tv series that he is very ambitious, resourseful, determined, cunning and a natural leader (big big arguments for Slytherin), and also that he is extremely hardworking, loyal, kind, friendly, fair and dedicated (big big arguments for Hufflepuff).
So Idk where I'd put him, he'd be a hat stall.
What do y'all think?
i don't believe that hermione was a true hat stall. there is no way that she could be a ravenclaw because although she is very academic and intelligent, she is canonically close-minded. thoughts?
She legitimately wasn’t a hat stall. Like officially. She and Neville were the closest in Harry’s era to getting hat stalls, but neither of them did.
She definitely a Ravenclaw secondary, but wasn’t quite a hat stall. I would say she’s more stubborn than just closed-minded, but she does struggle with processing and accepting new points of view. I think most of that stems from a fear of not knowing more than from closed-mindedness

A STORY
Okay so January 2015 i took the pottermore quiz and got hufflepuff. hufflepuff isnt really the house i have in mind but when i got it, i learned to love it and live as it is. September2015, they took down pottermore temporarily but before they did i wanted to know if im still a hufflepuff. ive been hat stalled between slytherin and hufflepuff and as much as i love puff, i thought "if i hadnt live in hufflepuff would i choose it over slytherin?" and i know that no is the answer so i went with slytherin after that i always identify myself as a slytherpuff. but January 2016, we probably all did the pottermore again to see if we have some changes. im expecting either of the two but out of nowhere the hat sorted me into gryffindor. ive never been more confused in my life. also what should i identify myself as? i mean maybe i have gryffindor traits but i really dont think im as brave as a gryffindor should be. by now i just consider myself to be slytherpuff with a hint of gryffindor.
