Harvey Scales ....American R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. Scales was active in the music industry since the 1960s, composing songs for groups such as The Dells, The Dramatics and The O'Jays. Particularly notable for his co-authorship of the songs "Love-Itis" and "Disco Lady"! But I & many others that knew him personally simply knew him as “God-Daddy”.He had the largest personality and incredibly funny without even trying, it was just part of who he was. I had the pleasure of touring with him and as a young aspiring artist and I will never forget his drive, energy, and ability to put on a “SHOW” , he had always encouraged me to continue to write and never give up. We had so many adventures together, from #milwaukee to #chicago to #losangeles ! I haven’t stopped writing ✍️ and I never will. It has been my pleasure sir and quite some ride .
