If ya'll didn't know, there's going to be a Lava Church-friendly tour this summer featuring Lovebrrd (yours truly), Tender Cruncher, and Harmoos! But there is more to this tour than just our music. Along the way, I am going to record every performance by all artists, and record interviews with said artists, show operators, and show goers for an audio documentary about the experience with a focus on the effects of the internet in regards to our own perceptions of community in the musical realm. But even beyond that: I am starting an audio archive of avant-garde and outsider music that will focus on recordings of live performances. Many recordings from this tour will be some of the first entries into this archive! Eventually, I hope to have all of the recordings available online in a single library with totally open access. This project is going to be my main musical and academic focus for the foreseeable future, so I appreciate your support! History is important ya'll!
