What is the last song you listened to?

The last song I listened to was Analogue by Folk Bitch Trio. I am quickly becoming such a huge fan of these girls. I wish i could do harmonies like that 💕 Sounds heavenly.

We started out with Ruins, one of those card upgrade games, where we managed to build up some very silly cards. One of them restored more of the card upgrade currency than you can hold, and another was worth 25 in a game with cards that initially top out at 10. K won this one, and won it handily.

We followed it up with Harmonies, which N picked from the demo shelf. She continues to have a really good nose for games there. It's a habitat builder that feels not unlike Cascadia, but plays rather differently. Terrain is selected from five stacks of three wooden discs, and the discs can be stacked; not just played out horizontally. You also can take an animal card each turn, trying to craft the three dimensional habitat the animal wants, in order to remove a scoring cube from the card and pace it on a piece of your terrain. Given that you score off both animals and terrain, it's got a lot of options for how you place things. We played one game that we retroactively dubbed a learning game, then followed it up with a second game where our lowest score beat the first game's highest. K won both of the games.
