Enjoy crispy and golden homemade chips cooked quickly and easily in your halogen oven. They make a perfect side dish or snack!
Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes, washed and peeled. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Get your halogen oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Cut the potatoes into French fry shapes that are all the same size. Add the potato strips to a big bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss them to cover them all. Make sure there aren't too many potato strips on the halogen oven rack when you put them on it. Add pepper and salt to taste. In a halogen oven, cook the chips for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them over halfway through the cooking time to make sure they brown evenly. Let the chips cool for one minute after taking them out of the halogen oven. Use your favorite dipping sauce to go with your homemade chips.
