a farewell to a woman who inspired me endlessly & i loved more than anything for over a decade. hayden. i'm writing this for you through tears. i made so many wonderful friends & long lasting connections because of your character sam from until dawn and her relationship with josh from the same game. i can't believe you're gone. it hurts, it hurts so much. i barely have the words, i was halfway done with reading your book, in awe of how much you had struggled, had experienced and lived through despite how hellish your surroundings and your circumstances were. you were a fighter. i fucking loved you for it. i fell in love with sam from the first time i watched an until dawn playthrough when the game was released in 2015, and from then on i followed your career closely and couldn't help but fall more in love with you. maybe it's parasocial, but you had such a light about you that made me feel all the more aglow for it. i'm going to miss you so much. i feel sick.
