God. I know my memory has alternated good and bad over the years, but movies have always been something that I really struggle to remember lol. For all its flaws (mostly its age and a certain actor), I am very fond of TOS. Spock is one of my favourite characters, period, so that makes a huge difference.
I have plans to rewatch DS9, though - I remember some very key characterisation bits, but very little in terms of its plots, and I think I need to give it another go to properly reevaluate it.
Other than that, it's honestly probably Discovery.

MermaidAvon is one of the very few absolute, total AUs I’ve planned out - not even remotely canon divergent, just full on Alternate Universe, and basically an A/V that’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a low priority WIP at the moment, but one I really loved setting up and definitely hope to finish eventually.
“Today’s Special Torture” is another Whumptober one that I interpreted a little more loosely, so I’m not sure what you were imagining, but probably not the actual premise, which is that Avon has a literal sixth sense for interfacing with AI. There isn’t a whole lot to this one yet, so I can’t really share a snippet, but have some mermaid!Avon below.
Vila pulled the last of the net off and avoided the dark fin beating heavily onto the deck. “I’m Vila Restal. What’s your name?”
The merperson was carefully examining their hand – the net had cut into the wrist, but hadn’t broken skin. “Next, doubtless, you will ask whether I’m male or female,” they said, and Vila’s breath caught.
Few humans sounded so caustic and bitter, and it hardly fit with the joyous merpeople he remembered.
“Hey, now, I’m not out to hurt you. What were you doing near my net, anyway?”
The merperson shrugged. They had sounded male, but Vila didn’t dare judge by human standards, and he could hardly ask now.
“Freeing the fish, of course.” They bared their teeth. “These are my hunting grounds.” They gave up on their wrist, propping themselves up on the deck. The dark fin beat again, but it couldn’t move them. “And since you humans are so desperate for gendered pronouns, I prefer he. Now, if you would be so kind…”
Vila nearly obeyed before he had a chance to examine what he had heard. When his mind caught up, he stopped. “Hang on!”
The merman rolled his eyes. “Here we go.”
“You were sabotaging my catches?!”
“My hunting grounds.”
“I need to eat!”
“Then move.”
“Where is your pack?”
“My pack?” His mouth shifted into a sneer, showing off sharp teeth. “I don’t know why I’m surprised. Human, after all.”
“Your family, then,” Vila probed.
The merman tensed, his shoulders stiffening. “I’m done answering questions. Either set me free now or make your intentions clear.”
“Right. Sorry.” Vila took hold of the merman’s arm and hoisted him up onto the railing of his boat, where the merman immediately jerked free, eyes on the sea.
“I can’t move on, you know,” Vila told him and found a baleful glare directed back at him.
“Can’t or won’t?”
“Can’t. I don’t take more than will balance out, I promise. You and everyone else will be fine even with me here. I mean you no harm.”
The merman eyed Vila’s catch, fish struggling on the wet deck. Their breathing was nowhere near as adaptable. “I’ll be the judge of that,” the merman said and with a sharp flick of his fin launched himself back into the water. It wasn’t a smooth dive, but Vila could see him turn under the surface, then he dived through under Vila’s boat and Vila lost sight of him.
