the student who was making me insane this morning came in to the coffee break with a long comedy of errors story about proposing to his girlfriend this weekend. and it was funny but through this I slowly realized that he's. really really christian. like, met his fiancee through his pastors and they are engaged after like 3 years during which they have lived 200 miles apart the entire time. and there seems to be a sense of urgency regarding getting married before she finishes her PhD in one (1) year because then she can move up here. but they don't want to live together before they get married.
