#gui programming

Working on a miniature version of peacock called peachick. Right now it's using fairly raw rendering, existing just to test the most basic faculties of the framework: rectangles, text, and images.

Not me finding out that I need to completely replace the widget system for my GUI framework... An upstream dependency is what I was providing the widget system, but it turns out that it's not actually usable for my framework because it's not suitable for procedural content. And since my framework is specifically for procedural content, well... ya girl is royally screwed!

Spent an hour last night before I crashed trying to figure out my problem. Apparently I was a lot more tired than I thought I was. Didn’t notice that I forgot to call the .show() function for the headers, and couldn’t figure out why the hell the headers weren’t showing... fml...
