Zzzzzzzz
(Y/N) was happily snoring on their side of the bed, snuggled up in all the pillows and blankets. The only downside, Levi didnât get any. Even though he didnât sleep much, only three hours a night, he was very tired. And without the blankets, the chilly December night biting at his skin was keeping him more awake than usual.

Hange was a breath of fresh air, turning his life upside down, showing the beauty of allowing a touch of mess in his plans. She kept him on his toes, presenting another crazy idea or mischief when he expected it the least. Truly, he never knew what could happen the next moment when Hange Zoe was around.
And tonight she proved it one more fucking time.
Levi Ackerman was sitting on the couch, drinking his tea instead of sleeping. All because his wife sent him away.
Sheâd cast him away from their marital bed
The Butterfly Effect [Levi x Reader]: Chapter 1
Hey yâall, hereâs the first chapter of my story Iâm currently writing.
âHey miss, another round!â
âTwo more over here as well.â
âBe with you in just a second,â you tossed casually over your shoulder as you filled yet another martini glass to the brim. The warmth of the bodies crowding the bar and softness of the dimmed light enveloped your body as you worked, while loud music and chatter floated around you and up to the ceiling as you continued pouring and mixing tirelessly. This night felt as if it would never end.
Make no mistake, you loved working nights at the local pub â you were one hell of a bartender â but there were some nights where your shift seemed to drag on and on.
After what seemed like an eternity, you enviously watched the final remaining couples saunter out into the gusty October night; their flushed faces boasting hues of satisfying liquor and cuisine. You sighed and averted your gaze from their silhouettes huddled together as the front door slammed shut behind them and glared at your distorted face in the glass you were currently polishing, suddenly feeling an unwanted emptiness creep into your heart.
âLeave that to me Kat. You need to go home and get your rest,â Natalie appeared behind you, nearly causing you to drop the glass in your hands. Your co-worker and close friend snickered at your clumsiness and snatched the glass and towel from your hands, all but pushing you out the door.
âThanks Nat, Iâm exhausted,â you smiled gratefully at her and proceeded to the kitchen to say goodnight to the chef; as was good restaurant etiquette. âHave a good night Joseph!â you waved at him and threw the back door open, finally free.
âBe careful! Drive safe!â he called after you, his voice faintly travelling through the already closing door behind you.
âAlways am,â you muttered to no one in particular as you made your way to the car. The cold, harsh northern climate made you regret leaving your cozy bar, the wind tearing through your jeans and thin shirt.
âAlmost thereâ, you thought to yourself as your feet dragged on through the final stretch to your car in the far lot. Had you not have had your head downcast and hood shielding your face from the wind, you might have noticed the figure slouched against the fence to your right.
âFuck,â you cursed as your boot caught something and you stumbled forwards, nearly steadying your footing in time before falling completely. âWhat the hell?â you exclaimed quietly as you turned to investigate what had caused you to trip, only to find a man sitting slumped, unconscious against the parking lot fence. âHey, buddy,â you lightly nudged the end of his tall boot with the toe of your own. âCome on, I donât have time for this. Do you want me to call you a cab?â you said coldly, having been fed up with dealing with drunks for one night. âSeriously, wake up. Youâre gonna freeze out here.â You informed, eyeing his thin clothes and . . . cape? Examining his attire more thoroughly, you realized just how strangely this man was dressed. Still not receiving a response, you decided to pat him down to check and see if he had a wallet or phone, or at least something that could help identify him. You gasped aloud when you felt a hand dart out and grasp your wrist with a surprising amount of force.
âWhat do you think youâre doing?â a deep, monotone voice questioned.
âIâm just trying to help. Do you have someone you can call?â you asked. The figure in front of you offered no response but the grip on your wrist did not loosen. You were suddenly very aware of the fact that you were in an unlit parking lot alone with a complete stranger. âLook, itâs two in the morning and I donât know what youâre doing passed out in a parking lot, but can you at least tell me where you live or the name of someone â â
âWho the hell are you?â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
âMy nameâs Katarina. I donât see why that matters. Now, if you could just ââ
âI donât need your help,â he said flatly, cutting you off again. You pinched the bridge of your nose in frustration and exhaled deeply, lifting your eyes back up to his face. You were shocked to discover that he was staring intently back at you, confusion clouding his piercing grey eyes.
âOkay fine,â you huffed. âAt least let me give you the extra coat in my car. Youâre going to catch a cold in whatever the hell youâre wearing. What kind of outfit is that? Halloween isnât for another 17 days â was there some sort of convention or something? Because itâs not bad cosplay, Iâll give you that,â you joked, trying to lighten the mood. Your efforts were futile however, and a pang of worry hit you when you saw that he had no idea what you were talking about.
âI could ask you the same thing,â he said, eyeing your own revealing clothing. You shivered, feeling the heat of his intense gaze sweeping over you.
âDo you have a phone to call a cab?â you pressed, ignoring his comment. He simply raked his hand through his raven fringe and averted his eyes, avoiding your stern gaze. Genuinely concerned for his safety, you tentatively asked âDo you know what Iâm talking about?â Again, no response. âDo you know what a phone is?â Nothing. âDo you know what a cab is?â Silence. âAre you suffering from amnesia?â
âSomething like that,â he whispered and released his death grip on your wrist, âJust leave me alone,â he spat, turning his head to once more look back into your eyes. Although he was very guarded and standoffish, you could sense his underlying fear and uneasiness and were genuinely concerned for him. You pondered over what you should do. You couldnât very well just leave him here, could you? He didnât seem like he had bad intentions.
âIâm such a fucking idiot. Always the martyrâ, you inwardly kicked yourself for what you were about to say.
âCan you stand on your own? I can take you back to my place â just for the night so you donât die out here in the cold,â you offered your hand to him, but he slapped it away and slowly pulled himself off the gravel, leaning heavily on the fence for support. He just stood for a minute unmoving, and looked you up and down as if weighing his options carefully.
âI donât need the help of some girl, let alone one dressed like that. You should be careful of who you just invite back to your home,â he said in a judging tone.
âYeah, sure,â you waved his rude comment away, âIâll pretend I didnât hear that because you obviously are in need of help and are either too stupid or too stubborn to ask for it.â You began to make your way to your car, half hoping heâd follow, and half hoping heâd walk in the other direction. After a few agonizing seconds you heard the crunch of gravel under his boots as he followed behind you. You reached your car and unlocked the front doors, grateful to get out of the cold. Another few seconds passed before you realized the man was standing outside the passenger door with a baffled expression on his face; he was staring at your car as if heâd never seen one in his life.
âFor fuckâs sake; what the hell am I getting myself into?â you cursed under your breath and reached awkwardly across the console of the car to pull the handle and swing open the passenger door. The man climbed into the seat, looking more confused than ever. He regarded the dash of the car along with all the different buttons and knobs with scrunched eyebrows and a frown.
âYou better put your seatbelt on,â you told him while gesturing towards his seat. When he just stared blankly at you, you let out a frustrated huff and reached over once more to grab his seatbelt and click it into place. The man just stared straight ahead with a menacing scowl plastered on his face to mask the slight blush you could barely make out in the dark car, obviously embarrassed that he needed help with something such as a seatbelt â or so you thought.
âSo you got a name?â you asked while you busied yourself with adjusting the heater and putting the car into gear. You figured he at least owed you that. When the vehicle lurched into motion, his hands darted out to grip the dash of the car, uncertainty and fear etched into his pale features. You simply sighed and continued driving; you were almost used to his silence and strange behaviour by now.
âLevi.â
âNice to meet you Levi,â you smiled warmly at him.
âTch,â he examined you with cold eyes and turned his head away from you to peer out the window.
The rest of the half hour car ride continued in this fashion. The silence wasnât all that bad though; you almost appreciated it after the rowdiness of the pub. A little ways into the trip, Levi seemed to finally relax slightly into his seat which put you at ease.
âThis is me,â you pointed to the small apartment complex that grew taller in the windshield as you pulled closer into your parking space. The jingle of your keys echoed loudly in the empty stairwell as you climbed towards your destination. Reaching your apartment door, you jammed the key into the door and kicked it open, longing to get off your aching feet after a long shift. You turned around to see Levi standing hesitantly in the doorway. âWhat do you think?â you asked, sweeping your arms in a grand gesture around your small, underwhelming studio apartment.
âItâs a shit mess,â he stated curtly, eyes sweeping around carefully with a judging expression. There was something else behind those eyes . . . surprise? Confusion? Astonishment?
Remember when Snow White baked a pie for Levi?

EruRi AO3 Thanksgiving 2017
Hello there I'm back with barely having time one day before thanksgiving.
I would have liked to have finished it yesterday but I was already very tired. This fic begins one day before the day of thanksgiving and I have contemplated writing another chapter that would be the afternoon of the day of thanksgiving.
You can read it at AO3Â /Â Thanksgiving 2017Â
Chapter 1: Wednesday, November 22nd 2017
After a very long exhausting working day there's nothing better that going to home to rest, have a nice dinner, Netflix and a cup of tea. But not today thanks to...
"Levi~ C'mon don't be so boring, you know I won't stop talking until... bla bla bla".
Levi just stopped listening otherwise he would be stressed apart from being very tired. "I just don't fucking get it why people love holidays tch. There's too much of everything, is not worth working so fucking hard all week to have just an extra few days free". Little Levi being grumpy as ever doesn't matter what he thinks, he'll have a change in his life and won't be the same ever again.
"Ok ok just shut the fuck up before I jump out of the car and you crash in the middle of the freeway. Long story short what the fuck do you want".
"Levi tomorrow we'll all be spending thanksgiving at Mike's parents home. Don't sweat it we only have to bring two pumpkin pies and a bag of nuts for the fruit salad that mama Zacharias will make".
Exhaling deeply Levi knew he had no salvation and it was better to cooperate, everything would end quickly and he would have peace on his long weekend chilling at home.
"Tch, from where do we get the pumpkin pies? It'll be faster if we go to Ralph's and...".
"No can't do, mama Zacharias loves the pies from Costco aaand before you say anything we'll do it as a team! You park the car. I go for the cakes and the nuts. We meet inside, we pay and we leave. The End".
Omg you do attack on titan! Can you do a sick Eren (during his time when he first joined the scouts) with a grumpily caring Levi (not romantic plz)?
I sorta did sick, feverish Eren falling while riding on his vertical maneuvering equipment and falling and getting a concussion. Hope thatâs okay

.
He didnât feel in tip top shape that day but he knew the team couldnât afford to lose a member, so he went along anyway.
He regretted it once they started traveling through the trees. He felt hot and could feel his vision getting blurry. He was already out of breath from exhaustion after ten minutes.
Levi seemed to notice he was falling behind, and called out to him to keep up. Eren tried to speed up but his coordination seemed to be affected by his exhaustion.
He nearly missed one of the trees but caught himself and latched onto another one. He was so tired even the highly active soaring couldnât keep him awake. He found himself dozing off and nearly rammed strait into a tree before opening his eyes and dodging to the side before he collided with it.
âThis is bad.â Eren thought. âIâve got to snap out of this.â He tried to force himself to stay awake but all of his muscles seemed to be working against him.
He felt weak and his arms and legs were shaking. âCome on Eren. Youâre not so weak as to falter from sickness.â He tried to convince himself.
He tried to focus on nothing else except flying through the air. He went quite a while without incident and was in fact doing very well, until he felt a sneeze coming on.
âNo, no not now.â He tried with all his might not to sneeze but it came on without his consent.
The sneeze was so violent and offsetting that he missed the next tree and felt himself falling backwards.
He looked around for another tree to hook onto but his eyes were watering, obstructing his vision.
âEren! What are you doing?â He heard someone yell, and Levi made to turn around and tried to catch him, but he had been too far ahead of Eren.
Eren fell to the forest floor below with a smack. He landed on his back, knocking the wind out of him and slamming his head against the ground.
Levi landed a few feet away from him gracefully and ran up to Eren. âMoron. What were you doing daydreaming!â He scolded.
Hange and the other team members landed one by one. Hange went up to Levi looking down a Eren. âIs he alright?â She asked.
âHeâs out cold.â Levi said, rolling his eyes. He smacked Erenâs face lightly. âHey, brat. Wake up.â
Eren groaned and tried to open his eyes, squinting. He let out a small cough, breathing unevenly. âI-uchh-canât- breath.â He said between gasps.
âYou just got the wind knocked out of you. Itâll go away shortly.â Levi told him. âAre you hurt anywhere else?â He examined Eren.
âMy- head-ach.â He winced. âItâs killing me.â
Levi stood up, wiping dust off his knees. âHeâll be fine.â He told Hange. âBut Iâm not sure heâs fit to fly.â
Hange sighed. âI guess weâll be setting us camp here tonight?â
Levi looked around, examining the landscape. âItâs not flat enough here. Letâs move about a meter away.â
âAnd you intend to carry him?â Hange asked Levi, pointing at Eren.
Levi sighed. âIt canât be helped.â
.
Levi lifted Eren up on his back and began trekking through the forest. Eren was wheezing and it was difficult for him to breath in that position. Not to mention with each step Levi took his head throbbed.
The motion made him feel nauseous as sharp pangs pierced through his skull. âLevi.â He wheezed.
âWhat is it brat?â He asked grumpily.
âI think I might be sick.â Eren said with urgency.
âNot on me youâre wonât be.â Levi said, immediately dropping Eren to the ground. He only fell a foot and a half, but the sudden motion sent his head toiling. He clutched it in pain, feeling dizzy. He leaning forward and started to dry heave painfully.
âHurry it up brat weâve got to start setting up camp before it gets dark.â Levi looked away with his arms crossed.
Eren swallowed dryly, once the motion stopped the nausea slowly faded. Unfortunately the pain in his head did not. âIâm okay.â He told Levi.
Levi glanced at the ground, raising his eyebrows when he saw nothing there. âYou better not puke on me or youâre dead.â He cautioned, lifting Eren on his back again.
.
They managed to make it to a spot Levi was satisfied with without incident, and laid out a stretcher for Eren to rest on while they set up camp. He tried to rest because he was already exhausted, but the pain in his head was too great. He rolled on his side clutching it in agony. It was so bad that he broke into a sweat and couldnât help but moan.
Levi went over to him and squatted beside him. âYouâve probably got a concussion. You should stay laying down for the next twenty four hours.â He said, sounding annoyed. âHey, Eren?â Levi snapped his fingers to try to get his attention.
Eren looked up at him with droopy eyes, taking his focus away from his head for a moment. His eyes were glossy and he was pale.
âWow you look like shit.â Levi said indelicately. âIf you were sick you shouldnât have come. Now look what youâve done, youâve put us behind a day.â
Eren was already angry enough at himself without Levi barking in his ear.
âDo you still feel nauseous? We just set up camp here I donât want it smelling like vomit.â Levi asked.
Eren swallowed, nodding, and Levi brought him bowl and set it beside him. âGet some rest. The sooner you recover, the better.â He ordered. But just as Levi turned around and started walking away, he heard Eren retching into the bowl. He clenched his fists angrily. âThat damn kid.â
.
It was a long night for Eren and by default, Levi. Eren was confined to a tent and Levi was stuck with the task of tending to him.
He had hoped that Eren would sleep through the night but he was not so lucky. Eren couldnât sleep because of the pain in his head and he was wracked with chills as he was struck with a fever.
âLevi.â Eren said with a hoarse voice.
Levi knew the drill. By this point, Eren was too exhausted to even hold himself upright. So Levi pushed him into a sitting position and held a bowl under Erenâs chin as he started to gag. He spit up bile and water that they had forced him to drink to stay hydrated. He coughed weakly, and Levi cursed, concerned about not having enough water for the other members.
He worried that if Eren didnât get better soon, they would run out of water and have to transport him in his condition. A plan that Levi did not want to have to set in motion.
Unfortunately thatâs what it came to, because Levi knew that if they couldnât get Eren more water, then he had a serious chance of dying. They carried him on the stretcher and slowly walked back to base.
Being carried on the stretcher was torturous to Eren, as the motion aggravated his head and made him even more nauseous. The entire way he moaned about them putting him down but Levi refused, knowing they had to get back as soon as they could.
By the fourth time Eren leaned over to vomit, he spewed all over Jeanâs shoes.
âWhat the hell!â Jean jumped back in disgust, letting go of the stretcher. Eren rolled off the bed and onto the ground, crying out in pain.
Levi turned around to see what the fuss was about and was furious at what he saw. He gathered Eren up, put him back on the stretcher and took Jeanâs spot begrudgingly.
Eren coughed and tossing and turning, making him harder to carry.
âYou better keep it down or else.â Levi threatened, and Erenâs whimpering got quieter.
By the time they reached base they had wasted almost all of their water trying to keep Eren hydrated and his fever down. Everyone was relieved to no longer have to worry about supplies.
âTake Eren inside and get him some iv-fluids.â Levi ordered, but as Eren went passed him on the stretcher, Levi felt something tug on his trousers. He looked down to see Eren looking up at him. âThank you Levi.â He whispered, with as much strength as he had left.
