Should have started at the siege of Minas Tirith, close to when Grond appears instead.
"No man can kill me"
"But I'm no man, I'm GROND!"
"Fuck!"
I am upset
I only now realized my favorite card from the latest mtg set
is not a creature. It is a Vehicle who is commonly a creature on your own turn.
I can't have Grond as my Commander, Wizards? Why not?! One of the most important characters in the army, and the only named siege engine I know. And it can't be your Commander. You've got 3 Aragorns, 3 Frodos, 4 Gandalfs, and Bill the Pony, but no commander Grond.
Cowardice! Cowardice is what it is.
Fine.

ok this is obviously wishful thinking but I kinda want a Forged in Fire LOTR episode: the smiths have to make signature blades out of steel rings (that are obviously decorated to look like the One Ring). Then after that, instead of recreating a historical weapon in the second round, the smiths have three days at their home forges to recreate Grond, Hammer of the Underworld:
{ID: a picture of Grond, the battering ram used by the Orcs in the 2003 fantasy film Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The head of the battering ram is shaped like the head of a snarling wolf. There is fire lit in the wolf’s eyes and mouth./end ID}
