hello! :D thank you!! i use photoshop and a customized texture-y brush based on an ooooooooold brush i downloaded from god knows where, probably deviantart in its glory days lmao!! and of course the default hard round brush for colouring :^)

also for the record, a lot of my art looks clean because i work on a huge canvas (around 4000px wide/tall) and then post a smaller version here so no one can really "sense" the little mistakes or bumps and ridges <3 love wins

7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

the smell and sound of sizzling bighorner, johnny guitar on the radio, the click-pssh of a beer bottle being opened - tiny things that remind her of home, of her family’s restaurant. being around tribes gives her a ton of nostalgia, too; zion and the great khans reminded her a lot of her childhood. the feelings are warm and welcome, but make her more than a little homesick.

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?

going off on her own! when she was a kid, sometimes she’d get bored of her chores and lessons and just explore the area around their tribe’s lands. (the first time, she returned to see the tribal elders comforting her grandmother, who was in hysterics, worried that moz had been taken by the desert.)

and then, after the sandstorm wiped away most of their tribe and her family were wandering around and looking for somewhere to settle down, moz would “scout ahead” and disappear and come back an hour later with a few cuts and vague news about how everything’s fine up ahead.

10. What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?

she isn’t really into the habit of telling lies? she…embellishes her stories a lot, yeah, and sometimes pretends that she doesn’t know information, but she sticks to the truth as much as she can.

11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

it depends but moz is so curious that she’d ask question upon question until she’s satisfied that she knows everything. when things don’t add up, she’ll go to other people, sometimes even go through personal property. it gets her in trouble more often than not but it’s usually worth it, in her opinion.

18. What embarrasses them?

the biggest one is not being able to live up to a promise that she made, and another is being seen crying - as in the ugly, snot and tears running down her face, soul-wrenching kind of crying. no one needs to see that.

21. Why do they get up in the morning?

because the sun is bright and shining and there’s more of the world she hasn’t seen, because her friends are out there, because her brother and stepmother and nieces and nephews are waiting for her to visit. during fnv it’s mostly because the mojave has so many problems and she’d promised that she’d help it solve them

27. What causes them to feel dread?

nothing, really? she tries not to think about the future so much. she’s more angry and determined to fight the legion than to feel dread over the threat that they hold tbh

B) What inspired you to create them?

honestly? when i was still lurking in the fandom in like, 2013? 2014? all the couriers i saw were these swooning waifs who wore tank tops and shorts in the fucking desert, and like, nothing against these kinds of couriers of course, you do you, but they just don’t seem like they’d survive out there?? so i wanted to make a courier that flies in the face of all that. and that’s moz, my wild pink-haired sunshine.

oh and AFTER NEW VEGAS she tries her best to make sure vegas doesn’t devolve into riots and madness. there’s a lot of going to and from factions to negotiate deals and create this council that can rule vegas with her, because wow moz does not want to deal with ruling a whole desert by herself. lots of going to the big empty to get new tech to help the mojave, lots of going to the divide to get ulysses’s advice (among other things ;)), and lots of visiting her brother to get away from it all sometimes.
