Ugly Christmas Sweater Time!
Day 7 of KPDH Advent Calendar
With Baby

He can’t hold back. His lips keep on twitching the longer he looks at it. Expression may be blank, but you know he’s humored by this – more so than when you came out this cold morning with an opportunity already slipped over your body.
The classic holiday ugly Christmas sweater.
“What do you think~?” You tease, rocking your shoulders with playful glee inside.
“… I respect the creativity from it.”
You grin, but that’s your method in holding back a laugh. It really is creative, the number one sweater you just had to buy for him the moment you found it off Amazon.
It bore the same magenta color as the regular sweater he wore from the Soda Pop era, but with additional layers of color at the collar, the sleeves’ ends, and the bottom hem that was “decorated” with multicolored lights in sewing patterns. Not to mention a cute, silhouette background repeated art design of Santa and his reindeer, “flying”around the sweater in a darker tint of magenta but still faint to lay without overwhelming anything. And, lastly, the grand centered piece that caught your eye in the first place: a drawn image of Santa, doing the “heart fingers” with his cute, chubby index and thumb, wearing sunglasses that was tilted to show a given wink to anyone who sees him. Best of all, there was a soda in his free hand. Noted, how it’s shaped bears similarities to those classic glass bottles Coca-Cola used to sell back in their day, his hand covering most of the base so seeing a possible label was not happening, but still close enough to what you’re thinking!
Baby then looks over to you. Still deadpan, but it’s weakening by his lips, stressing a bit to avoid smiling or laughing. “I can see why you chose this. And I love you for that.”
“So, you like it?”
“I’m wearing it, definitely.” He then gets to work of throwing it on while you cheer and clap repeatedly in delight.
“It looks so good on you!” You praise.
Baby smirks, instead. “Not like you haven’t seen me in this color before, Ms. Clothes Snatcher.”
You giggle, knowing fully well on stealing his clothes without a care. He never asks for them back unless necessary, which was rare.
“However!”
You blink at his exclaim, then his point over to you.
“You gotta tell me where you got that cause I want that, too,” he declares.
You look down at your sweater. It’s about two years old, but you still remembered how you got it: from a gift shop in Universal Orlando, in the Grinchmas aisle where you found an exact look-a-like of the sweater Jim Carrey’s the Grinch wears from the movie. Unlike the movie, the tree and the “I ❤️ Xmas” didn’t have battery-operated lights, and instead bore printed-on lights. It was no matter. You’d lose the battery pack, anyway – not to mention would be more expensive than the $50 you paid for it.
You smile up at him. “I’ll see what I can do.”
He pumps a fist at your agreement. Then softens before walking towards you. “I really do love it,” he expresses in a soft tone that he would only do to you. “Thanks, babe.”
He leans in to give a kiss on your cheek, your face warming up after. “You’re welcome. But be ready, though, cause this is only just the beginning.”
He chuckles and grins wide. “I look forward to it.”

The things you work on the last minute for. At one point, I was gonna make this Poly!Saja x Reader, but seeing the Baby gif I already placed here changed my mind.
See you in Day 8!
