2020 Grimoire Challenge—day 3: planning
Okay, I’ll admit, I basically worked on this for more than a week nonstop. I, uh, really like planning, guys. I pretty much intend my grimoire’s creation to be a years-long, if not lifetime endeavor.
I intend the first picture to be the table of contents for the whole book, with each section having its own table of contents to suit the contents therein.

#GrimoireChallenge2020 or as I have shortened it in my journal #GC2020 has added some more pages, but just for those out there who ‘don’t know what to log’ in their journals, I gave a “blank page” picture.
This was right after I put the date, time, moon phase & sign, but right before I began journaling about my day (and eventually used like 4 pages). I log the same things for pretty much everything, if it doesn’t have a log of the date and moon phase at the top it’s because I’ve done it on the same day as a previous entry that does have the log.
These are days #23&24, Month and Weather timing. While researching the month timing I found this neat list of what it means when the sun/moon are in the different signs and what to focus my energy on. For pages like this, where I go out and find knowledge that I don’t already know (from amassed and now unknown sources), I write the source at the top of the page under the journal logging info.
GrimoireChallenge2020: Week 1
It’s about time I made a new grimoire after losing a lot of my posessions a couple of years ago so I’m participating in the 2020 Grimoire Challenge hosted by https://grimoirechallenge2020.tumblr.com/ .

I spent days finding a design I liked for the border, and weeks planning that damn outline just so I could write this out. But I am deeply satisfied with how it looks. It’s so fulfilling.

Day 5, Day 7, Day 8, Day 10.
I’ve had this index made for a while but haven’t implemented it. Admittedly, there’s a lot of things I want to change with it already, but that’s what a work in progress is for. I used Cafe.Astro in order to get my chart and write all the little graphs out. I downloaded the printable version so I can read and organize it how I want later in my Notion Grimoire. A lot of my ethics are actually taken from Satanism. Fight me about it.
Grimoire challenge 2020—day 1! Gathering supplies.
I chose this grimoire because it is very, very cool looking, but more importantly, because it’s post-bound. This means I can rearrange the pages as I learn new information and put things in order as I see fit.
Most of my pages I intend to do in just ink, but some will incorporate colored pencil and marker, and some will include gold and silver filigree. I really want to create a work of art.
With some free time I began the promptlist of @grimoirechallenge2020 and have assembled my materials. Refillable notebook, some nice pens. The Arteza is the best, acid free and fade resistant, beautiful writing.
