tugger’s fursona is like a tiger or a leopard or something glamorous like that. no way it’s just a regular cat. bomba’s is probably a fox?

In fairness, if ever there was a group that needed a good collective bargaining unit, it was all the apprentices -- dark or light -- in the Star Wars universe.  XD  (They could also join with the clones and form an intergalactic union!)

yeah, Weird Coincidence how the only star treks where the main character hasn’t started off as a captain are also the ones where the main character is black....

1-3 things I enjoy about them

Legolas: ever since I embraced the autism headcanon I love him so much more... his counting... his accidentally obnoxious statements... 

Gimli: his poet’s heart. <3

Something interesting about them based on tenuous circumstantial evidence

Legolas being the youngest elf on Middle-Earth. (he’s canonically the youngest of all the elves we know, but he might not be the youngest of all of them, but I like to think he is?) He’s 2000 years old, he’s seen a lot of shit, but despite his occasional “you kids”-ing towards the Fellowship members he acts like an excited young guy in general. He doesn’t have the world-weariness of the other elves, at least until he hears the seagulls.

The fact that Gimli traveled with Legolas to Valinor, giving up being buried with his kin among the great things that he built. Legolas waited a long time so as to be with Gimli for his whole life, he could have waited a few decades more until Gimli died, but instead Gimli chose to go with him. Out of a desire to see Galadriel again? To have an entirely new experience? Or to be buried somewhere Legolas could visit?

Did Gimli get to see the restored Moria?

Were Legolas and Aragorn fwb when Aragorn lived in Rivendell?

uh, other than the obvious, Gimli and Galadriel, and Legolas and,.. uh... Tauriel (look, I said I didn’t prefer movie Legolas, didn’t say anything about other movie characters.) But not in a they-end-up-together way.

How would they react to Tom Bombadil

Legolas would enjoy him a lot I think! Gimli would be completely perplexed but glad that Legolas was having fun.
