Epic's story is so painfully inaccurate to the point where it's physically painful to think about it for more then 5 minutes.

- Telemachus' entire personality being changed from being a traumatized prince who acts immature at times to just being a carbon copy of Polites

- Antinous' lack of personality in Epic replacing the personality he DOES have in the original odyssey

- Calypso being babied and almost everything making her terrible being removed

- Odysseus being overpowered in "600 strike" and "Odysseus"

- Polites. In general.

- Athena disappearing for half of the fucking musical

- The way Eurylochus is villainized in both the cut and canon songs

- Important characters being cut just for the sake of this being a "modern retelling"

The list fucking goes on. Epic's story is a mess. It needs work.

And what's sad is, I know it's not going to get any.

Because the musics already set in stone. This is what Jorge shows people who he wants to work with. Which means the story's not changing

This isn't an insult to the music. The music and the voices are the saving grace of this musical. Without them, this would just be a shit retelling.
