Ndani-tháro (Denethor) of the Nandor never saw sunlight as he was born and died before the First Sunrise. But he would have loved the fresh green of the forests in spring and summer.

Ndani-tháro (Denethor) led the Nandor over the Ered Luin into Beleriand. They stayed in the shadow of the mountains in Ossiriand, the Land of the Seven Rivers.

Ndani-tháro (Denethor) led part of the Nandor around the Misty Mountains into Eriador while his father stayed behind with the rest of their kin in the region that would later become Lothlórien. Later, Denethor and his people left Eriador. They went over the Blue Mountains into Beleriand where they settled in *Lindānā (Lindon) which was called Ossiriand by the Sindar.

The Nandor took part in the First Battle of Beleriand but they took heavy losses, including Denethor himself.

Happy New Year everybody! Let‘s start this year’s posts with a photo of my beloved Gondolin & Dragons character Kelundir.

If the opportunity presents itself, I’d like to cosplay him again at some point this year, however, since I only plan on going to a limited number of conventions (Tolkien Tage, Elfia and MagicCon) plus hopefully our the_eldar_cosplay vacation, it’s not that likely. While I only have one fixed cosplan for this year – Gil-galad, whom I’ll certainly want to cosplay at the Elfia (and probably Annatar, the Eregion guard or Turgon the other day) –, I already have some plans for our cosplay vacation (I need more photos of the Eregion guard, plus I have at least one other vague new cosplan for that). And the cosplays for the Tolkien Days are also set. And at MagicCon I’ll probably wear something fitting for photosessions with the actors.

So we’ll see if Kel can make an appearance at some point this year! It’s not as if I don’t have any photos of him left to post. I just love this cosplay, it’s so comfortable!

Definitely the most obscure Tolkien character that I have cosplayed so far.
