Obsession (2026) is a perfect example of how sex scenes in a movie can, in fact, have a purpose
Look at the way the two characters are moving. Look at their facial expressions. Look at how they are reacting to each other, and what that says about their relationship. Look at where the scene is placed in the film, look at everything that comes before and after, and how this scene contrast with what we know about the characters, and then question if this is even really sex scene at all, or something darker.
Literally the entire point of Obession rides on this one scene. And thereβs no dialogue at all, itβs just physical performances. Everything you need to know about the film can be seen in the characters bodies alone
