Okay so how do I explain this-

Monkey Wrench: Code Y.L.W. Is a very VERY VERY self indulgent AU created by me and my bestie, basically putting our traits and headcanons onto the main two- mimicking our own friendship. It’s pretty fun I must say, we’re having a blast. So in short it’s like a self-insert au but like, not with ocs but the characters themselves (???) cuz like we did this before with other of our interests too.

Now- from a AU making perspective

There is a story- kinda. And there are changes.

But unfortunately I can’t go into too much detail cuz our boy Shriek is still in progress and I wanna wait until my friend posts him themselves.

HOWEVER- I can give some fun facts about this AU and Blades (Beebs in this AU).

Blades loves the color red A LOT- and unfortunately for him it brings him foreseen consequences. He gets mistaken for Red Reinforcement a lot, even to the point even L.A.W. Mistook him for a reinforcer one time when he was doing Mercenary/delivery work for one of the scientists in Yellow division.

Blades has pretty bad insomnia that causes him to be unable to sleep, which wouldn’t be a problem for his species if it weren’t for the fact he can’t sleep properly for longer than two days and can go on for 6 months without sleep- which causes him to have hallucinations that can get really bad. (That’s why the eyebags are there- Someone help him get some rest)

Scratch and Scrich run a family owned mechanic shop and pawn shop. That’s actually where Blades got Bucket from! He is pretty good friends with both cat bros.

Jawbone is a the fifth most popular streamer among the galaxy. He’s a funny skeleton after all AND Blades is his long form video editor (Blades used to do his work for free until JB INSISTED to paying him eventually). I had an idea that Ricket is his second editor for clips and highlights.

Armstrong is a plague walker and pretty cool one at that. JB also sort of participates but not as the main guy- his chat noticed his green decent.

Yellow division sucks ass more the Red. In fact they all kinda suck tbh.

Agent K. is the same.

There will be more stuff in the future but I wanna wait first and cook up more stuff ;)
