I have been in a mental slump the past few days. I got in a walk at work last Thursday and also played Kickball. But was battling a mental block over the weekend. My watch accidentally recorded my yard work on Monday though so you can see I did about a quarter mile then, hahaha. And some how this week I have met my intensity minutes goal although I am wondering how. I don't think I will be able to make up steps to complete my 300k June Challenge in 5 days though, considering I am only slightly over halfway to that goal. So I will keep on truckin through this month and try to hit July harder so I can get that challenge next month. 💪 To top it all off, I haven't been any kinda sick for over or at least a year and now my body has said, "Hey, here's a head cold for ya!" Lmao, whatever. Just wanna let y’all know I’m having a bit of a hard time physically rn; I’m battling; - a kidney infection - a period (added bonus of having endometriosis!) - the tail end of the flu - my Botox wearing off - adjusting to a lower dose of two different opioids (this one’s by choice, so I can’t complain too much!) And all on top of the regular day to day challenges of my condition. Im just feeling generally quite poorly. To be fair, I’m actually doing really well mentally; I had a bit of a blip with my OCD and PTSD before Christmas, but I’ve got it under control now 💪🏻 so much so my psychologist is thinking of introducing me to group therapy! So yeah, I’m plodding along, but please be patient; there are days rn where I am short on both energy and patience! So thankful to have so many truly amazing people in my life, in person and online.
