I know that response about being happy with your test scores wasn't to me, but thank you. When I got my SAT scores back and people would ask what I got (which of course I would answer because I didn't want to be rude) my father would yell at me for not being humble enough and going against god. (I'm not even christian anymore) I still don't like answering questions like that because of this. I'm still worried I'll get yelled at for it. Stupid, I know, but I am. So thanks for saying that.
no, itās not stupid at all. i donāt know if you grew up as a girl, but most western girls are taught to be quiet, and excessively humble. there is ZERO wrong with being proud of your own achievements. telling ppl when they ask, is just polite. iām sorry your father didnāt understand this, and itās affected you still. i hope the next time someone asks about your accompliments- you hold your head up high, smile, and tell it like it is! :D
