Wouldn't it be convenient to have a little advantage while fighting your enemies, by, let's say, being scary as fuck? Scaring your opponents by wearing armor or painting yourself happened throughout history, although this helmet of the Hound from Game of Thrones is a very good example of how not to do it. It might be indeed scary to face this huge guy, but how much, do you think, would he be able to see through this thing? 😉 I can forgive the creators of the show that they use impractical armor and weapons since it's a fantasy series and I love their style, and although being obstructive this helmet is rad! Arya and the Hound. I liked the dynamics between the little (soon to be assassin-)girl and the huge Sandor Clegane. Arya‘s story is the one of coming of age, and despite being small she overcomes her obstacles, though struggling, which is a theme you also often find in ancient mythology.
