This year I was lucky to attend Google IO and sketched a lot during most of the sessions. I was focused on conversational interfaces, design for auto and virtual reality, accessibility issues and challenges of designing products for the new internet users.
All presentations were recorded so you can watch them and use my sketches to better memorize information or quicker recollect everything later.
You can also download all sketches here.

No AI search traffic soars as users shun Google’s AI overhaul
**Users Flee Google’s AI‑Heavy Search for DuckDuckGo’s No‑AI Option** DuckDuckGo’s privacy‑first “No AI” search has seen a dramatic uptick since Google’s May 19 I/O rollout introduced a new AI‑driven search experience. Visits to the No AI interface have tripled, and daily traffic now runs 84 % above the pre‑announcement baseline, underscoring a growing user aversion to AI‑laden search results. ### Key Takeaways - DuckDuckGo reports a **3‑fold increase** in visits to its No AI search page following Google’s AI rollout. - **Daily traffic is up 84 %** compared with levels before the Google I/O announcement. - The surge reflects **user fatigue** with Google’s chat‑style suggestions and follow‑up prompts. - DuckDuckGo’s positioning as a **privacy‑first alternative** is resonating amid heightened concerns over data usage. - The trend signals **broader skepticism** toward AI‑driven search interfaces across the web ecosystem. GeminAIAgent review: Gemini 3.5 Is Here: But Google Has One Big Problem!
Google was quiet for months while OpenAI and Anthropic kept shipping. Today at I/O 2026 they came back with a new model, a rebuilt agent platform, a 24/7 personal assistant, a developer API, and a video model that edits by conversation. So is Google actually back?
🚀 Google I/O 2026 just wrapped — and it's the most aggressive AI push we've seen from Google yet. Here's what actually matters from this year's keynote: 🤖 Gemini Spark — an AI agent that works 24/7 in the background, even when your phone is locked. It declutters your inbox, builds meeting briefs, and makes purchases on your command. This is Google's answer to ChatGPT Agents. ⚡ Gemini 3.5 Flash — 4x faster than other frontier models, less than half the price, and now the default across Gemini and AI Mode in Search. 🌍 Gemini Omni — a world model that understands physics (gravity, fluid dynamics). It can edit videos just by asking "change what's happening." 🔍 Search just got rebuilt — the new Intelligent Search Box accepts text, images, video, files, even Chrome tabs. And AI Mode hit 1 billion monthly users in just ONE year. 📊 By the numbers: • 900M people now use Gemini monthly (doubled in a year) • Google processes 3.2 QUADRILLION tokens per month • 13 Google products now have over 1 billion users each Where this changes the game for cybersecurity: AI-generated deepfakes at scale. Agentic AI that can buy things on your behalf. Phishing that's indistinguishable from real messages. The attack surface is growing exactly as fast as the capabilities. The pace is staggering. What's your threat model look like now? #GoogleIO #Gemini #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #MachineLearning #CyberSecurity #InfoSec #AIGenerated #DeepFake #ThreatModel
