I see that your shop is still open, and none of the merch seems to be marked out-of-stock. Are leftover sales really still open?
Sure are! Weâre trying to get rid of as much merch as we can. We are out of zines, but merch is still availableÂ

Hello. Your art makes me smile! Have you ever seen The Secret of Roan Inish? That movie was my first introduction to both selkies and more traditional faerie stuff and I think you might like it. No pressure though! I hope you have a good day tomorrow!
agh thatâs movieâs been on my âto watchâ list for so long and I still havenât got around to seeing it kfjdghdfkj but it looks great !! so!! one day!! when I find time!!
Thank you all so much for making this! It's lovely and I hope the goodness you are putting out into the world (in a crazy time when such things are especially needed, no less) will return to you three-fold! đđđ
Hi, thank you so much for your sweet comments and your support! Weâre really glad you enjoyed the zine. Have a great new year <3
Will you be selling any leftover merch separately from zines?
Hi! Yes, we will be selling the prints on their own. However the charms and bookmarks will only be available through the merch bundles (sans the 6 charms weâre giving away with purchase of the physical bundle) since we donât have that many left
I hear regularly about students at various levels who do not have and/or do not believe they have ADHD using prescription ADHD medication like Adderall as a âstudy drug.â As a person who actually needs such medication for basic functionality, and also as someone who has a degree in psychology and has studied these drugs and their effects, this bothers me a LOT. I feel hurt when itâs someone I know, because I feel like my basic daily difficulties and the necessary means for me to deal with them are being belittled and misunderstood, and I also worry because I know these drugs can have dangerous side effects, adverse reactions, and even toxic effects, even in an ADHD individual to whom they are prescribed, and many are addictive. As I understand, ADHD medications, and stimulants in particular, generally have different effects (or to different degrees) in a non-ADHD person than in someone with ADHD. I recall a citation to a study that suggested that, while a non-ADHD student will often believe they have performed better on a test after taking an ADHD medication, that is often not the case in reality. (I do not have the actual study on hand, Iâm afraid - is this accurate?) On the other hand, I really do understand the pressures people are under, students in particular. I just think most arenât properly educated on what they are doing when they buy a pill from someone in the library to help them cram for a test. Do you have any information on this, and any advice on how to deal with it when it come up? Itâs always a really uncomfortable conversation and I always come away from it feeling that I made no impact beyond labeling myself as judgmental.
[I remember reading a report on that study, and my recollection matches with yours. Basically the meds make non-ADHDers more confident but donât actually improve their scores.
I agree that most people donât understand the dangers of taking these medications to study, and I share your concerns about the health ramifications of doing so. Itâs so easy to end up with an overdose and I worry that people whoâve taken things without telling anyone might have something happen where they need to go to the hospital, and then who knows what could happen since the hospital staff wonât know whatâs in their system.
I think there are a few things to keep in mind here. First, if you see someone buying meds itâs not your business. People are going to do what theyâre going to do, and jumping in and telling them not to is definitely going to be seen as judgmental and they arenât going to listen to you at all. (Yes, I do struggle with this because it is illegal to sell medication in this manner.)
However, if someone approaches you about it, either to ask if they can have some of your pills or to see what you think of it, thatâs an opportunity to try and talk some sense to them. I wouldnât approach it from a âthatâs a really dangerous, stupid thing to do and doesnât do what you think it does anywayâ kind of angle, though. Instead, ask them why theyâre interested and what they expect the drugs will do. Maybe what they really need are better study methods. Maybe they actually have ADHD and would benefit from some ADHD-specific strategies. These are things you can suggest as being better alternatives than taking a medication that wasnât prescribed to them, which is (a) illegal, and (b) potentially quite dangerous.
