✎Main Four getting rejected by their crush ✎

Gon

-Oh my god ouchies

-This boy is so excited confessing to you

-“Y/N, I really like you! Will you go out with me?”

-He gives you a flower:(

-When you let him down, he just kinda stands there

-“I-I’m sorry Gon, I don’t feel the same...”

-“Oh... well that’s alright!”

-Tries to maintain a positive attitude but tbh it hurts him a little bit

-He doesn’t let it affect his friendship with you, he cares too much for that to even happen

-He just hopes that maybe one day he can win your heart.

Killua

-This causes me physical pain I love him so much

-It took literally everything in him to even confess

-He planned it out perfectly, and here you go, you’re about to say yes-

-“I’m so sorry Killua, I don’t like you like that.”

-...Oh.

-He just blinks and looks down.

-“It’s fine.”

-He just kinda leaves, shuts himself off for a little while to process

-At the end of the day, nothing will change between you two, he’d never want that and would die before it happened

-Despite that, he can’t ignore the dull ache in his chest when he stares at your face.

Kurapika

-He really thought you liked him.

-Kurapika is a very cautious person, so he really never openly tells someone his feelings like this

-Because of this, confessing to you was a big deal, and he really believed you felt the same

-“Kurapika- I- I don’t have the same feelings for you...”

-Ouch.

-He nodded, smiling a little. “It’s alright. I understand.” Except he didn’t.

-He didn’t press further, he respected you too much for that, but he couldn’t deny the fact he didn’t understand how he managed to misread your feelings

-He drowns himself in his work and plans after, trying to distract himself

-He looks like he’s together but on the inside he’s completely broken.

-The one person he fell for didn’t want him. He had lost another one.

Leorio

-He went all out

-He planned a dinner, bought you nice flowers, and took time off from studying just to take you out

-He asked you out with full confidence you’d agree.

-“Like... a date??? I’m so sorry Leorio, but I’m not interested in you like that...”

-Well shit.

-He nodded, keeping his composure as he left you to your devises, tossing the flowers in the trash.

-He didn’t go to that reservation. He studied.

-He just studied and studied and studied and didn’t even notice the tears on his paper

-Here’s the thing, he’s only been attracted to things at face-value. He’s never felt in love, but he really thought that it was love with you.

✎ Gon comforting S/O after they lost a loved one ✎

-He didn’t know. He walked into the door after a long day with killua and when he wasn’t greeted by your voice, he knew something was wrong.

-He walked into your shared room and saw you curled up in a ball on the bed. He rushed over and gently tapped your shoulder.

-“Y/N, is everything okay?”

-“They died, Gon.”

-His eyes immediately widened. You had mentioned something about this loved one once, an offhanded comment, but he never expected them to actually die.

-He hears the way your breathing becomes heavy and immediately kicks his shoes off, climbing into bed and hugging you as he stroked your hair.

-Probably cries with you ngl, he understands what that feels like

-“It’s gonna be okay, I promise.”

-He tries his hardest to make you feel a smidge better

-“I’ll go get you food, what do you want? It doesn’t matter.”

-His worry grows more and more each day as you refuse to leave your bed but he understands that all he can do is be your rock.

-Holds you every time you break down.

-When you finally show signs of recovering and you start leaving your bed, he’s right there next to you, a bright smile on his face, and your hand in his.

-He promised to never leave your side.
