@megatronthenerdydecepticon Okay so!
The one I’m actually playing atm is a lady called Golnaz, she’s a ranger and a princess-in-exile (long story short: she called a foreign diplomat a shithead and her little sister took advantage of the scandal to poison their mom and usurp the throne) from a fake country that’s culturally, like, a pastiche of Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Hungary, and France and politically it’s basically Habsburg Austria. But it’s also a matriarchy. They have ritual cannibalism where you eat your mom when she dies and the country is like, a center of High Culture™. And it’s in an ice world. She’s spent her exile in her dad’s hometown, honing her archery and falconry skills (she was trained in all these traditional things as a child because she’s royal, and besides, she’s always been a bit of a jock). And now! She has been called upon by the SuperBitch queen of another kingdom to go investigate why the ice is collapsing and, in the course of the campaign, has been exposed to insane amounts of violence and physical and emotional trauma, including the loss of her falcon, Attila (and getting a new bird, a snowy owl called Jesus) and the loss of her right leg. She only lost 1 HP when her leg was getting amputated - Golnaz is a tough cookie Also she has a girlfriend who’s a cavalry officer and Golnaz always writes her sappy love letters that all start out “My songbird,” Dungeon World stats if you’re interested: level 3, str 9 (0), dex 13 (+1), con 12 (0), int 9 (0), wis 16 (+2), cha 16 (+2). Her charisma should probably be lower because her involvement in the campaign has basically just been a series of gaffes, but…that’s kind of my fault ((Also Christine’s character is from the same kingdom!! She plays a bard called Crusteen))
My first unused character would probably be more suited to Pathfinder or something with a modern setting, but in Dungeon World I’d probably make him a thief. He’s a secret agent. His codename is Rico Suave and his real name is extremely classified. He works in counterespionage (that is, killing other spies) and he really digs it. I imagine him as kind of an accidental James Bond-esque ladykiller who is just not that into being a seductive spyman. Like, women and men are falling all over him and he’s just like “well, it could be worse.” He’s in it for the love of the game. He’s very secretive and the less you know about him, the better.
The other one is a salamander, she’d be an immolator, a backup character for when Golnaz’s idiocy ends up getting herself killed. Her name is Aneta and she’s a professional baker–a good career for someone who’s immune to non-magical heat and fire! She’s also significantly older than the other two (in salamander years, anyway); she’s a grandmother and has never ever done anything violent in her life. She would be in for a rude awakening in any sort of campaign. I always picture her wearing a leather apron (like what blacksmiths wear) and a cute chainmail dress. And pink lipstick.
