Of course you are THE intrepid explorer. There’s probably no explorer more intrepid than you considering you’ve returned to an area you said you wouldn’t return to, all in the name of treasure.

Though other people might disagree, you don’t consider yourself a coward. You just have a high liking for staying alive, so after the encounter with the dragon a while ago, you hadn’t been too keen to return anywhere near the cave. Sure enough, you’re not that close to it, but still…

However, when Srevni had told you about some castle ruins which possibly held intact treasure inside, you couldn’t resist. Ruins meant abandoned. There might be trolls hiding in them and you had fought other treasure hunters before, but they weren’t dragons! You could handle that just fine.

This time you make sure to very carefully hide your hoverbike a few ways from your destination, but far enough from the town that no one would get the itch to steal it, and then start the treck to the top of the hill that supposedly has the ruins.

Except you really can’t see any ruins anywhere. You see a whole castle in a clean state and definitely not falling apart. Something is definitely odd about it. You take a picture and send it to Srevni, and then try the front door.

⏰️- how many alarms do they need to actually wake up?

With Jamie it varies a lot, depending on his pain levels and how recently he took his sleep dulling/pain meds. Sometimes he sleeps lightly and will wake up at even a small noise without any alarms (he hates this), but sometimes he's knocked out due to fatigue or his medication and he needs four or five. He always sets more alarms to be on the safe side if he has to wake up for work the next night.

🎁 - what kind of planning goes into them giving gifts?

Mr. Jameth Abnale is an extra rich bitch who loves being dramatic and fancy when he hands out presents. He probably asked you perigees ago about some interest of yours or thing you liked and now he's pulling out a box with a gaudy ribbon and it's definitely something you'll like, but he's so smug about it you might want to throw the fancy card that comes with it at his face. He accepts this.

🧸 - do they have any childhood toys or stuffed animals?

Aside from the kookaburra Velour gave him, Jamie isn't a big plushies guy, but thinking about it he probably does have some old sheep toy somewhere that he brought from Eire way back when.

📱- describe their phone?

Tech enthusiast Jamie always has the latest model of phone. I'll say for him that he at least recycles his old ones, but he is That Guy who buys whatever one has new features that he wants. His phone cases are similarly fancy, though often they have cutesy anime girl or bird designs on them.

The things you hold onto, the ones that tangle you deep inside.

=> Well, yeah. Why wouldn't she be? It means being closer to you, which means you're more likely to want to keep her around. Even with the exorbitant price the Auction House is going to be charging for her. Even if this goes as "well" as it can, who's to say she isn't playing pretend? That she wouldn't jump ship at the call of a higher bidder?

=> ... Knock it off with that. Can you really blame her for any of this? Do you really distrust her that much? No, and no. Though you wonder sometimes, if she's toying with your feelings.
