Charlie was so lost. confused. he wanted to get out, to leave. but this strange man- The Puzzler?- wouldn't let him leave. He'd struggled through the first room or two, but he was so hungry. Starving. How long had it been since he'd eaten? Days? Weeks? There was no food in this place. So when The Puzzler wasn't looking, he stole small items he found in the rooms. it started out small- little army soldiers, toy cars, bits and pieces of fabric and plastic. He knew he could take it, thanks to his part-slime insides. all he needed was the sustenance. But they didn't satisfy his hunger. the items began to grow- and with it, stealing became more risky. pieces of the games that The Puzzler gave him, locks and keys from previous rooms. None of it satisfied him. The hunger began to eat him, blurring his thoughts. As he staggered towards the next room, he froze. In front of him was a room filled with candy. Fruit wallpaper covered the walls- grapes, bananas, cherries, and so many more. He stood in the doorway, The Puzzler looking at him with a coy smile. "Hungry, Charlie? I know I am." He said, walking toward a jar of rock candy. He opened it, and pulled out a glimmering green stick. "Green apple, a perfect balance of sweet and sour," The Puzzler stared Charlie down as he raised the candy up and took a bite. Charlie was shaking. He was so, so hungry. But staring at the candy, he just couldn't eat it. Watching The Puzzler eat made him want to vomit. His mind, once previously foggy with the thought of food, suddenly became terrifyingly clear. Why was he even here? How had he gotten here? And, most importantly- Where the hell was he escaping to? Everything before entering The Puzzler's warehouse was gone. Or more accurately, fuzzy. He couldn't make out anything. He held his head in his hand, groaning. "What the fuck is this place?" Charlie asked, looking up at The Puzzler. The Puzzler's smile had vanished. He was frozen, staring at Charlie. Charlie squinted at him- he didn't even appear to be breathing. Somewhere far away, he heard steps approaching. Charlie stumbled back, starting to panic. He had to get out, had to leave-
