Indie Design Gift-a-long 2015 Featured Designer: Helen Gipson
Helen Gipson is one of my favourite designers to discover through last year’s Gift-a-long.  Her patterns are incredibly well written, I have made several of them already, including the sweater and socks above
The four patterns pictured above are all part of her GAL sale, you can get 25% off on them and a few other of her patterns with the code giftalong2015 until November 27, midnight EST.
Betelgeuse shawl is just beautiful and I want to make one. I especially love the mix of texture and open lace
Helagon scarf is on my ‘must knit soon’ list, I just am looking for the right yarn combination here
Color me Crazy socks are fun, and the look varies so much depending on the colour scheme you choose. From eye catching and extravagant, to subtly patterned -- and the pattern is not done with stranded knitting, but a much easier technique. All necessary techniques are well explained in the pattern
That Touch of Pink sweater is currently my favourite sweater to wear. It’s as comfy as your favourite hoodie, looks great with jeans or trousers in a sportive cut -- and yet you look well dressed in it. I regularly get complimented on my sweater when I wear it. The pattern comes in a variety of sizes and is very clearly written.
You can find all of the sale patterns here, or have a look at her whole store, which has lots of more beautiful patterns
