Tanglestar is a loner and prefers to stick with only those he likes. Became leader because he worked hard, not so much because he was good at politics

Fadingstar prefers the quite and loud sudden noises stress him out, so big meetings are a no. Also he never actually recieved his nine lives. +I imagine he just wants to chill.

Mantisstar lead his Clanmates in unnecessary battles where they died, so he’s not exactly a reliable leader when it comes to making decisions others depend on. Also he lives in The Sward, and no one goes there

Giantstar makes decisions in the spur of the moment. After his last caused his friend and deputy to die, I don’t imagine he’s eager to make another (but that’s also up to his creator, @sunshadesfrozensky )

So while Alderstar is a good leader and is great at making decisions, he’s also kind of the only option.

Story:

Mireclan was starving.

They needed more territory.

Sleekfeather reported a bear roaming near the Clans.

Giantstar never thought much through.

He was the brains of the duo.

That was what he told himself.

‘We will threaten the clans with the bear, and we can take their territory!’

He told his best friend his plan.

He didn't mean for it to go that badly.

He didn't mean for Darkscar to die.

He missed Darkscar.

Cautionary Tale: while not a cautionary tale, a story was passed to explain what had occurred to cause Lightclan and Caveclan to flee from their territories, and why they had isolated themselves for so long

Story: 

Many cats have heard the story of the Dreaded Giantstar, who almost single handedly ran off both Lightclan and Caveclan. 

Giantstar had a lackey though, his best friend, Darkscar. Giantstar had been the brains of the duo since they were apprentices, so when he suggested to Darkscar a plan to increase Mireclan's territory and get rid of the other Clans, Darkscar was intrigued. 

At the next gathering, Giantstar gave the Clans an ultimatum: leave or die. Lightclan and Caveclan got the message, one leaving entirely while the other hid deep in the mountains of their territory. However, Nobleclan was not as willing to back down as the others. So Giantstar and Darkscar hatched a plan: lure a bear with honey towards Nobleclan's camp, and let nature take it's course. 

What they didn't account for, was the bear choosing to target Mireclan instead. The bear got to Giantstar and Darkscar first, then chased the rest of Mireclan across a log bridge, finally dying as the log bridge snapped under its weight, but not before taking out six more cats in the process.

--Darkscar arrived at the Dark Forest, he was upset. He had followed Giantstar all his life, only for it to have gotten them both killed. He doesn't go near Giantstar's side of the forest anymore, That's where the bear spirit's roam, forever taunting Giantstar.

--Not only cats roam the Dark Forest, it is also home to any creature who's committed atrocities in their lives. Most of the bear spirits enjoy taunting Giantstar, he really thought he could control one of them? A laughable mistake. (sunshade’s AU)

Cautionary Tale: never walk with the shadows, lest you be trapped to the dark forever

Story: 

Brindlepaw was raised solely by his father, Cedarstar, as his mother had passed away shortly after his birth. 

He was quite timid and followed his friend, Sunpaw, wherever-- often being dragged along into trouble because of her. One day, they snuck out of camp and wandered far away. They came across a scraggly grey spotted tom. The tom told them of a way to become stronger, so they listened, dreaming into the Dark Forest. 

The tom introduced himself as Spottedstone, and he was joined by an ancient Dark forest spirit, a tom by the name of Darkscar. Darkscar had been chosen to train them. However, when Darkscar chased the two apprentices up a tree, they had failed to notice a very weak branch, and Brindlepaw had jumped onto it. 

The branch collapsed under the apprentice's weight and he fell to the ground, snapping his neck and spine on impact. Sunpaw had woken up, praying it was a dream, only to be greeted with the mangled body of her friend next to her. She ran as fast as she could back to her Clan and broke down, the sight of her friend's body proved to be too much for her, so she imminently requested to be a medicine cat apprentice instead. 

Due to Brindlepaw dying in the Dark Forest, he was forced to roam there forever. At least he has his grandma there to comfort him.

--Darkscar was the deputy of the dreaded Giantstar, who had attempted to lure a bear to Nobleclans camp, only for it to backfire and kill him and his deputy instead.
