Though a CaveClan warrior knows plenty of secondary entrances to the tunnels, most of them unnoticed by SwampClan cats, some groves stand out for being easily identifiable entry points, or the shortest path to important locations. The Jaguar's Mouth has the greatest diplomatic importance: located near the border between Clans, it's one of the few spots patrolled twice every day, a habit that serves a double-function which benefits both Clans — it strengthens the cave cats' claim over the border and serves as the easiest way for SwampClan to contact them outside Gatherings. Since swamp dwellers don't dare explore the complex cave systems beyond the grove's entrance and the cave dwellers are rarely found roaming the surface, urgent messages between the groups are exchanged here.

A very interesting cat. Mole was a member of a much more ancient version of Caveclan. While out exploring the mountains with a patrol he was trapped beneath some ice and frozen in time. Many, many moons later, two Caveclan guards went up the mountains to check the Ancestor's stone's cave after they had chased a Mountain lion out of the cave, only to find the stone broken and empty, with the cat inside very much not dead, and equally surprised.
