Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk. 2 tsp vanilla extract. Pink food coloring optional. Sprinkles for decoration. For the glaze:. 2 cups powdered sugar. 1/4 cup milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Chocolate glaze optional:. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 2 tbsp heavy cream.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a large donut-shaped cake pan. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the melted butter, vegetable oil, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. If you want a pink donut, add a few drops of pink food coloring to the batter and mix until evenly colored. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the giant donut cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. While the cake is cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. If you want a chocolate glaze, melt the chocolate chips and heavy cream together in the microwave and stir until smooth. Once the cake is completely cool, pour the glaze over the top, allowing it to drip down the sides. If using chocolate glaze, drizzle it on top of the white glaze. Add sprinkles for decoration. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving your delicious Giant Donut Cake!
