Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 large egg. 1 large egg yolk. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. Heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a different large bowl. To the butter and sugar mix, add the vanilla extract, one large egg, and one large egg yolk. Stir the mixture until it is smooth. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing only until everything is well mixed. Add the semisweet chocolate chips and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Put some flour on a surface and roll out the cookie dough until it's about 1/2 inch 1.25 cm thick. Cut out heart shapes from the dough with a heart-shaped cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Carefully roll out the rest of the dough again, and keep cutting out hearts until all of the dough is gone. Place the big heart-shaped cookies in an oven that has already been heated. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. After the Giant Heart Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookie has cooled, serve it and enjoy!
