The main reason I felt compelled to mention the BPD at all was because he consistently loooves to use it and its symptoms as a reason to mistreat you-- once heās settled in, positioning himself soĀ that heās always the most tragic person you know. Multiple instances of even telling depressed people to just get over it, while no one seems to be able to coddle him enough.
But ye, Iād casually consider him to have sociopathic traits. Having been interested by that chapter of the DSM for a while myself, heās a stark reminder that the take-home-to-mother lovable Dextery bad guys only exist on TV. Heād make a very disorganized one who doesnāt seem overly concerned with winning something concrete or scamming people for amassable goods. Everything seems to be in service of protecting his shitty little ego. Or sometimes, a quick pity buck and a quick emotional high. Brosef canāt keep experienced friends to save his life. Seems to actually be getting less convincing to people as time goes on.
Thereās not much at the base of him. Heās not very charming or ārealā-feeling until heās figured out and started imitating your interests. Bonds sexually seemingly in lieu ofĀ other redeeming traits. Youāre (THANKFULLY) not the first to mention sociopathy. A few others have suggested a type of malignant narcissism. The person who internet-diagnosed him with BPD sticks by it and suggests cluster B comorbidity. I donāt know what it is, but I do see stories of people exactly like him whenever I Google any of those PDs + ālyingā. Shitapples can come from every tree, it seems.
Whatever the hell it is, as far as Iām concerned his personality type is Garbage, his Meyers-Briggs is GRBG, and his horoscope says that he was born under the star sign Garbage. No possible diagnosis excuses his behavior past or present, and Iām glad heās in the trash.
And thaaank yooou! No apologies necessary at all, I totally know what itās like to find this stuff morbidly fascinating. Thatās why itās so compelling to talk about since I was the personal target of things I previously could only imagine.
