Did Victor disregard other “types” of bio weapons (megamyacete, plaga, etc) because Spencer and/or Umbrella never bothered with them or seriously considered them?
Or was he just sticking with what he knew?
Or did he never care for something with a hive mind like structure or function?
I’m kind of curious because Elpis “killed” Spencer’s legacy, but it’s pretty clear Victor saw it as clearing the board for other kinds of bio weapons.
I’m curious what other folks think because I know he comes across as mega coping at the reveal, but the dude also has a nemesis parasite. He’s got to know and accept that there are more ways to successfully carry out widescale biological change.
(Also are there any RE cannon bio weapons that are bacterial or archea?)
Spencer did seriously consider them. For the Mold, at least, we know he visited Mother Miranda personally and directly worked with her so I would say there was something there. Perhaps it's just that the way the Mold functions wasn't what Spencer personally wanted to do, though based on the very painting of MM in his private office we can safely say they had a close relationship.
