Az tends to frequent monasteries and hermit haunts cause that tends to be where the writings and information are. but they’re isolated and get raided sometimes.. some he probably got caught up in one of those situations because he was worried too much about the fate of his scrolls and stuff haha. Green: - cocky bastard - way too competitive for his own good, will get beat up - technically the leader of the four, still dumb as shit - maybe hes born with it……….. maybe its maybelline - important note - Green isn’t the same person as Link was, he’s a piece of him just like the rest of the four
Red: - OwO? Whats THis?? - cute bastard and loves his fellow links a Whole Lot - lowkey kinda creepy too - the fool isnt scared of anyone and he will personally see to it that anyone who crosses him are set on fire
Blue: - the Angry Bastard - has a big fragile ego and always decides he needs to prove himself, hence why him and Green are constantly trying to one-up eachother - is actually big time neat freak, folds his clothes every night and never lets the others leave even the slightest mess
Vio: - Smug Bastard - is very proud of the fact that he managed to scrape together a whole 1 (one) iq and will happily let you know about it - he’s got eye bags but only because he continues to stay up late to research - leaves he damn books everywhere. hes a Menace. Blue absolutely hates him
General:- all four are all technically a part of the original Link, and therefore, all of them share roughly the same memories from before the split- since Minish is the one who forged and first used the Four Sword, I thought it’d be fun for them(and essentially the original Link too) to look/act a bit like him- the Four Sword was also originally created with the four elements and therefore they each have the potential to unlock elemental magic

Shadow: - just a complete rat bastard. Mischievous Bitch - human interaction?? never heard of her - Tries He Dang Best to be nice but still doesn’t quite understand boundaries and often takes his little antics way too far - is a Cat. hes got teef and Will purr. furry
Zelda/Flower: - super chill about pretty much everything - loves her four dumb idiot knights a whole lot despite their bastard qualities - is pretty smart and can run her country just fine despite her age - is a huge fan of nature and sometimes likes to just hang out in a flower field
And you’re right! Ya boi is a trans nerd which has benefits such as picking your own name and disadvantages like periods rip.

iN GENERAL THOUGH most of the Links are fine with swearing, but there are a couple outliers - for example, Engi is wayyy to polite to ever utter a single swear and Wind swears a wHOLE LOT,, LIKE WAY TOO MUCH,,, THE PIRATES WERE A BAD INFLUENCE ON THE BOY ASDFGHJKL
okay so how was their first meeting? did they all meet everyone simultaneously or more like duo and trios??
well,, as i said, these were all for an (ongoing) rp, so it’s actually a bit complicated honestly,, but here goes trying to explain what happened(alongside this short comic!)
basically, Time really likes to timeline jump to see what his successors/predecessors are like from a distance, but this one time Dark Link interfered and caused a Big Magic Time Rift or whatever that pretty much just pulled every hero soul from their part in the timeline and threw them into the Four Swords Adventures boys’ world
from there on, Time and these four swordsmen of the apocalypse have been wandering around and picking up whatever links they come across, which is how they all meet
i was actually gonna have a couple more pages showing them joining up with everyone but 1. its so late and i just wanna get this bad boy out there and 2. we haven’t even gotten to all of them yet so,,
i might do a part 2 later if people would like to see it though!!

honestly, i think only a small handful of the Links are related by blood, those being Time and Twi(because of how the Hero’s Shade talks to Twi) and Wind and Engi(because i just think it’d be cute i guess). i see the rest as unrelated, mainly because text from Wind Waker heavily implies that Wind has no connection to the Hero of Time, BUT that doesn’t stop some of them from having family-like relationships!!(for example, Twi Is Everyones Big Brother and Sky Is Everyones Tired Dad)
The Zeldas are all related, though, since they’re all royalty and has the blood of the goddesses(i.e. Plume’s descendants)
